The West Indian Social Club of Hartford Black History Program is dedicated to honoring the achievements, contributions, and lasting impact of Black individuals throughout history. Through educational presentations, cultural discussions, community engagement, and special events, the program provides an opportunity for members and visitors to reflect on the rich history, resilience, and accomplishments of Black communities locally, nationally, and around the world. The program encourages learning, cultural awareness, and appreciation for the individuals whose leadership and contributions continue to inspire future generation. As an organization committed to preserving and celebrating West Indian and Caribbean heritage, the Black History Program also highlights the important role that Caribbean and West Indian people have played in shaping Black history and culture
